May 14, 2024 - Wine Tasting at Sweet Cheeks Winery

Ten members enjoyed the wine, views, and company at the Sweet Cheeks Winery southwest of Eugene.  Unfortunately, the return home turned into a nightmare when a fatal crash closed Hwy 126 east of Florence.  Members ended up back-tracking to Mapleton, then over the Old Pioneer Road (a dusty Forest Service gravel road) to the North Fork Siuslaw Road, then finally back home, hours later.
